VideoLinux Update
VideoLinux on Sunday 20 August 2006 - 19:01:56 in VideoLinux News
A bit of an update on the state of play of VideoLinuxI have taken a bit of a break the last few weeks, my day job has been a bit hectic and have not been able to do much.
Next Monday (28th Aug) From about midday GMT+1 the Website & Forum will be offline for probably several Hours I am doing a major update to both, with a bright new look for the Website.
I have started a few tentative steps to producing a light version of VL it will probably have an XFCE desktop, no other details at the moment as still in the planning stage.
Also thanks to nixter57 who's £5 donation bought me double the disc space & bandwidth for life with my Web Host.
Not much else to report really. Thanks for reading.

Also for those you have tried in the past with a hotmail address please try again we do WANT you as a member
Sorry about this folks

I have just come across this review of VideoLinux on tuxmachines here is brief intro and a link to the full story. Also I would like to tank the author for such a positive review."VideoLinux, is a light distribution that is focused one major area and that is multimedia. As stated just above, it might not be the easiest of things to configure in Linux and there are quite a number of powerful programs that are being offered to you for free."
